Introducing WS Stabs V3

For the past several months, we have been working hard at designing and prototyping Wuque stabilizers, aiming to have stabs that can be easily used for any kit.

WS Stabs V3 is specifically designed to match all 1.2 mm PCBs. However, since a lot of people ask us for 1.6mm PCBs, we also make them available here.

Features

• Two different versions:

         a. Wrapped the TPU in front of the stabilizer wire;

         b. Silicone with TPE material inside the stabilizer stem.

These two versions start from the front end of the wire and the inside of the stabilizer stem respectively to avoid the noise caused by the collision or friction between the wire and the stabilizer stem, which also greatly helps to improve the stability of the stabilizer.

• The stabs are pre-lubed to help things be easier, but we still suggest lubing them a bit before using them. 

• Packaged in a box to prevent wires from being bent or unbalanced during transit.

• The housing design makes it impossible for wires to pop out since they're installed from the bottom.

• There are ribs inside the housing to minimize lube from sticking to the stem, causing them to feel sluggish.

• Comes with PCB mounting pads and Teflon adhesive strips already cut to size to make holee modding easier.

1.6 mm

The 1.6mm version is for traditional keyboard PCBs. This version fits with most of the keyboard PCBs in the market. Most other stabilizers in the market are also made for 1.6mm PCBs.

1.2 mm

1.2 mm ones are not compatible with traditional 1.6mm PCBs

In the following case, we recommend you choose 1.2 mm

• If you purchased kits with 1.2 mm PCBs like:

If your PCB thickness is 1.6mm, we recommend you choose the 1.6mm ones.

Product Disclaimer

A. Pull-out Force Test of The Stabilizer Stem. 

The maximum pull-out force that a single stabilizer stem can withstand, exceeding this range will damage the stabilizer.

The renders are given to provide an idea of what the final product will look like. The physical product may have some differences. Please also refer to the prototype's photos as a reference before purchasing.

Troubleshooting FAQS

     1. Why won't my stabilizer stem go down?

      If the stem doesn't go down, check if the wire was inserted into the stem correctly. If there is inserted below the stem it will prevent the stem from going down correctly.

     2. Why doesn't the wire snap into place?

     You will need to apply a bit of pressure to get the wire to snap into place. If that doesn't work, check if the wire is inserted into the correct opening on the stem.

     3. Why won't my keycaps fit onto the stabilizers?

     The stabilizers can come in different lengths, so make sure that the keycap fits onto the length of the stabilizer is key.
