We love the all the bentwood on this sled! From the classic ram's horn design to the bentwood risers that unite the seat to the runners, this sled combines a soft look from its curves with a rustic look from its exposure to the elements. The sled features a two slat seat that is 12.5 inches high, metal glides on runners that terminate in ram's horns, and metal cross bars that unite the runners between the bentwood risers and horns. Ram's horn sleds, known as "Grindelwalders," were first developed in Grindelwald, Switzerland. The horns provide a better grip while riding upright than earlier sleds.
